Don’t wait too long in line.
Disney’s Fastpass Service is a way to get you on a ride with little wait time – free of charge. Many popular attractions in the four theme parks (listed below) feature this service. Simply look for Fastpass machines outside these attractions, and you’ve found the key to greatly shorten your wait time – which means you get to ride more rides in less time.
How does it work?
FIRST, find an attraction that offers Disney’s Fastpass service.
NEXT, insert your park ticket in the Fastpass machine – it gives you a Fastpass.
Your Fastpass gives you a one hour window to return to that attraction (usually a couple hours after the current time).
FINALLY, return to the ride in the designated time frame and enter the Fastpass queue bypassing much of the regular line.
Tips & Suggestions
- You can not have more than one Fastpass ticket at the same time. Check the bottom of the ticket to see when your next available time is.
- Each attraction’s Fastpass machines only have a certain number of Fastpasses. Once every machine runs out (or once the return times go later than the park stays open), there will be no more Fastpasses for that day.
- Very popular attractions such as Expedition Everest and Soarin’ will run out of Fastpasses early on in the day. For these instances, arrive at the park early to get one before they run out.
